I have photographed well over 500 women of all shapes, sizes, and professions inside the walls of our chic vintage boho loft studio. My ultimate goal is to help empower and encourage women to love themselves, just as they are.
Hi! I’m Stacey - Owner & Photographer
So, why boudoir?
I fell in love with intimate portraiture when I first starting shooting it in 2009; so much so that I left behind my day job and prior wedding photography business and founded Simply-Boudoir. That’s right - this has been my full time job (and devotion) for over 12 years!
I loved the more personal connection I have 1 on 1 with clients and showcasing a part of their life journey via photographs all the while maintaining my artistic freedom. I love that every client tells their own unique story about why they desire a boudoir shoot, allowing us to work together and create a customized experience just for them. I am a natural introvert who comes to life inside my studio walls, hyping up everyday women to see their beauty in a sensual yet fun light.

How it works

You’ve been thinking about a boudoir session and may be a little nervous; I completely understand! You’re worried you may not know how to pose or even what you’d wear. All of those worries can be put to rest, though - I got you, girl! Let’s chat about your vision for your shoot, down to your favorite colors and what your personal style is. Would you like dark & sultry images, more bright and airy or a mix of both? I want your images to reflect YOU! You can also rest assure that on top of having your hair and makeup done (yep, that’s included as well) that I’ll be guiding you through each and every pose the day of your shoot.

Once you pay your session fee, I’ll send over your contract and prep guide, which includes tips and tricks to prep you for your shoot as well as what you can expect the day of. We’ll chat about your wardrobe options and I’ll help you find the perfect pieces you’ll love. On the day of your shoot you’ll be fully pampered with all inclusive hair and makeup by my professional artists, a mimosa or wine if you wish, full posing guidance and LOTS of laughs! I guarantee you’ll walk away feeling amazing and empowered!

I retouch your final proofs with magazine quality editing. If there’s anything you’re concerned about, I’ll take care of it for you! Once you view your edited images (1-2 weeks after your shoot), you’ll decide how you’d like to showcase your images (album, digital files, canvases, etc.) and place your order then. Once your beautiful art arrives back to me I’ll get it in your hands for you to revel in every single time you view them.

FAQs
Where do your shoots take place?
Sessions take place in our all-inclusive boutique studio in Kernersville, North Carolina. Located just off Business 40 (421) and local to hotels, dining, and shopping.
Do all sessions include hair and makeup?
Yes, every single session includes professional makeup including false lashes and hair styling.
Does the session fee include any products at all?
No. All products are purchased à la carte after you view your edited proofs. Products include albums, USB, wall art, and a keepsake glass box with prints.
How long will our shoot last?
I would allow around 3 hours from start to finish. Make-up application will take about an hour and the session itself is about 1.5 - 2 hours.
Do you have to post my photos online?
Absolutely not! All clients choose their level of comfort when it comes to image sharing and there is no obligation to share any of your photos. All clients sign a contract and included in that is your option of sharing images or keeping them private.
Do you shoot couples or male boudoir?
I do not photograph couples or males.
