What’s it worth to you?
Choosing a photographer is a pretty big deal, and I understand that. I know you are worth much more than time and money, but I also know that my time, talent and career are worth a lot as well. When you choose a photographer, you are choosing someone’s artistic ability. This, to most photographers, is something very personal to them. It is not just a camera that is used to take your photos – but the eye and passion that lies behind it that drives that photo into creation. That makes that photo stand out from the rest and tell a story.
When you hire me, all I ask for you to invest is a little time and trust. While I am very laid back and easy to get along with, I also take great pride in my job as a photographer and I want to make sure you get what you pay for. Because of that, I make it easy for you. All I ask is for you to show up on time, relax a little (and I’ll even crack some jokes to help!) and trust that you don’t look silly or stupid, even when I ask you to sit a certain way that doesn’t seem like it would look very appealing to you. I would never compromise your values or integrity just to get a good photo.
My packages are priced according to the time put into creating your photographs. After the shoot is over, you will leave feeling giddy and excited and made up, looking flawless and ready to go out to dinner with your significant other or friends! This is great, because this is how I WANT you to feel! While I am right there with you, feeling giddy and excited (and a little less made up), I still have hours of work ahead of me. Hours of sorting, filing, editing, ordering, processing and delivering. After the shutter on my camera is released, my job is just beginning. Of course, I adore every step of the process along the way, but I also know my talent is worth a lot. You are not just hiring me to take your photo, you are also hiring me to stylize and personalize photographic memories for you to have forever.
