This post touches my heart! It spells out exactly how I feel. I’m still learning on how to love myself, and so I know first hand how hard it is to except a photo of myself- so your right, if shes not ready, shes simply-not-ready. And the part about not wanting the client that just wants the cheapest photographer… I couldn’t have said it better myself! This post is truly amazing, thank you for writing it out. I too have anxiety issues that spread like wildfire when in a group of unknown people… its sometimes hard to deal with. I am, however, taking Christa Meola’s boudoir workshop in 2 days, [online] to give me sort of a new perspective, as the clients I’ve been getting recently are the ones I’m not really interested in having, those looking for a “cheaper” photographer. I am cheaper as Ive recently found out, and thats completely my fault for not calculating the worth of my photography, but it can and WILL be changing in the new year!
