Being an artist and owning my own business means a lot of things. More times than not though, it means listening to others and not myself. Getting wrapped up in the business and not allowing myself to express my artistic side. I will have clients come through from time to time that want me to flex that artistic muscle and want me to use them as my muse. They trust me to take the reins and have fun and they want something different. This isn’t always the case so when I’m feeling artistically frustrated I tend to let my mind flow onto my editing. Shooting a photograph has always just been a portion of what I do as a photographer. Editing makes my photos final and often times brings my final visions to life. I took some time to myself tonight and had a little fun editing and love the way these two images came out of beautiful miss Chrissy.
I have purchased a lot of new things recently to bring to shoots and use to spice things up a bit. These items include but are not limited to: Liquid Latex, a cowhide rug, and a pair of tights with the seven deadly sins written on them. Ok, so I bought the tights for ME but I know I’m going to have to use them in a shoot, too.
